About me
Hello and thanks for stopping by! I'm Lynne. I've been crafting for as long as I can remember - and that's a very, very long time! Primarily working with textiles, I enjoy learning and using many types of media, increasingly working with clay, mosaic and wood. I am particularly interested in the history and culture of art and design across the world in addition to the development of creative process and trends.
Originally specialising in textile design, I have over 40 years experience in creative visual arts, business management & working with clients to bring their ideas into reality. I was supported by the Prince's Youth Business Trust in the 1980's, sold my designs in major outlets and have enjoyed writing for various sewing and mixed media magazine publications over the years.
I now handcraft unique items from fabric and mixed media with an emphasis on quality, individuality and sustainability. Inspired by my love of travel and often using colour, texture and techniques collected from my adventures around the world I create eclectic, stylish fashion and home accessories that are influenced by our wonderful planet. Increasingly using repurposed or recycled items and materials in both creation and packaging where possible, I aim to help Mother Earth too.

I'm looking forward to documenting my own creative process and sharing design news, trends, art and craft product reviews and sources of inspiration with you. I'll include original colour, pattern and texture palettes derived from my travels around the world and share how I translate these into made pieces, adding occasional craft tutorials and advice.
